Any good B100 Low Temp Anti-Gel Tricks???

Just found a steady source of B100 and looking for some real world advice
regarding an "effective" Low Temp Anti-Gel additive/product.

To be more precise (though my heated WVO bed tank runs wvo like a champ year round) I want to run B100 in my trucks 35gal (unheated) stock tank this Winter. However, as with most B100 "gelling" becomes a major issue when temps fall below 40deg (F). Unfortunately, there are all kinds of B100 low temp anti-gelling products on the market claiming their product is best and the more I research B100 anti-gel products, the more difficult it is to separate facts from the hype (without testing 'em all and breaking the bank in the process). Seems Mixing B100 with straight Diesel @ $3.99ish/gal is a no brainer but if there are any other tricks or something less expensive/more effective ... I'm all ears!

(Recent reply I recieved from a major BioDiesel Supply House...)

Most of the products out there really don't work that well (the chemistry behind it is really difficult).

The two I've heard that actually are worth a darn are:
1) Amsoil Cold Flow Improver (we tested it, it worked marginally well)
2) Technol B100 Biodiesel Cold Flow Improver (I've had customers report that it does a fairly decent job as well).

Outside of those two, I have no other experience except to say that diesel fuel is still an awesome anti-gel additive and still the cheapest way to keep B100 from gelling.

Biodiesel Magazine recently did an article on anti-gel additives...
Short version: They all suck & should all be tested
Long version:

I would say a lot of it depends on your feedstock though. I just did an article on this very topic that may be of some benefit. Here's the link:

I run SVO in my stock tank, but I cheat and preheat with my Webasto engineheater feeded from a jerrycan in the bed.
When temps get near 50 or so (F) it gets 15 mins. And it starts right up, Wien temps get to 30ish I increase that time to 20mins. And when it gets to around 15 I start to feel loss of power and dump in 5gallons of diesel, then fill up with SVO and everything is good.
I understand your thoughts on the diesel/antigel, been there myself, but after hearing about numerous fantastic products with little to no explanation, and at least twice as many "bright" ideas, I figured I'd rather play it safe.
