Red face Another Wheel Bearing False-Alarm

Got my new wheel bearings yesterday from Rock Auto.. Cost me about $350 shipped.. As you know, they are the full hub-assembly.

I went to tackle the job last night and when I went to loosen the 4 hub bolts I realized they WERE already loose..
What is the deal with these loosening??
I used locktite last time I put it together..

Anyways, I tightened them up and now of course there is no play. So now I get to send the bearings back...
This is the second time I thought a bearing was bad.. First time was when I found out only ONE of the 4 bolts was present after driving back from Texas..

Stupid me for believing the tire shop that they were bad.... They didn't check the bolts.
Here I thought it would be time to replace them at 195k!

Still have to tackle the axle seal though.. Its leaking BAD.. Getting thrown up on the fender liner, etc.. I'll post back.

My bet is the bolts were over torqued at some point and have stretched.
I would replace them.
