Another water meth kit question
I need this primarily for towing to keep the egt's in check. I already have a ported intake,(CFM+). I also run the smarty on 3 default.
Long hills into the rockies, so will buying a kit that draws from the WW fluid be acceptable or would I need a separate tank in the box?
What systems are good ( I know I know ) I have to ask because I have very limited experience wiith this.
I have narrowed it down to "Devils own" and "Cooling mist"
BTW I am running a commander form my gauges and I am trying not to run anything else for clutter reasons (satelite radio, brake controller, etc) but if it is necessary I will install another controller but I was leaning towards maybe a just a switch or is that just plain dumb.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot, I won't be using this in the winter months thanks to the -30c we see here.
thanks for hearing me out.

I am interested in this also.
With Edge J/A on level 3 (60hp), and 37" tires with some weight hauling I could get the EGTs to creep as well. I imagine you may not be pulling anything heavy in the winter, but I did, and still saw warm EGTs.
A simple entry level system is prob what we are both looking for.
Subscribing.

My vote goes to DevilsOwn but if you're towing alot with alot of hills you're going to need more water than the WW fluid container will provide. I'm guessing minimum 5 gallons in bed of truck.

Go with a separate tank, the wash fluid tank will go a lot faster then you think and just about the time it goes empty it will start to rain or a load of bugs will splat on the windshield and you will want the washer fluid to be there to do what it is really for, washing the windshield.

+1 for devilsown. It is a great kit and I have had it on for over a year with no problems. If you need a larger tank you can use just about any kind you want and mount it wherever you want to.
