another water injection question
I got one on my truck tapped into intake, its just a on or off type no progressive, works fine when the truck is empty, I can fell the truck pick up when it kicks in. but when I put my camper on and the meth kicks in the truck starts to miss real bad. in mixing meth with water 50/50. whats the deal?

Two things could be happening. One, too much water is putting out the flame.
Two, too much meth is causing detonation.
Try cutting back to 1/3 meth, retard timing a little if possible and maybe smaller nozzles.
You are going to have to play with those perameters and find what works best. Don't continue to run with that "miss"-- you could really hurt something.

Fuel pressure Ok?
Fuel filter clean?
A lot of variables but as stated, ease up on the meth usage. I don't know about the timing with your Hypertech stuff but if it's adding timing and you're spraying meth, you can blow a headgasket or worse pretty quickly. Without studs I wouldn't spray anything, imho.

I really think that as he needs/adds power, then there is more fuel and he gets to a point where there is too much timing AND meth and that is when he reaches the threshhold. With only one 800cc nozzle, it is not putting a ton of water out, but with that large a nozzle and not knowing the psi of the pump, it may not be atomizing well either.
My recommendation is like I said above, cut the meth down to 1/3 (maybe even 1/4), and dial back some timing.

I am not familiar with your hypertech tuner... but there should be a tune that will go without timing or lowered timing. If not, you have only two choices. First is the tone ring mod (do a search here to find it) which will allow you to manually dial out some timing or second, keep diluting the meth down until the miss goes away.
