Another tire question

Just wondering if anyone has ever ran 305/70-16 on the rear of a 2wd with stock rims. Found a good deal on a pair but don't know if there would be issues with rim width or clearance. This would be with 265/75-16 on the front. Any help would be appreciated.

The only 2 things that come to mind is,
1. How wide are the factory rims? If they are too skinny the 305's might be too wide.
2. Your speedo will be showing a bit slower that your actual speed.
They should fit the truck though, I run 285's on my '01

The rim size is my biggest concern, I don't want balloons on the back. Just wondering if anyone has run anything this wide on a stock '95 rim.
My speedometer is off already. According to the calculator I used, I will be going 64.28mph when speedometer reads 60mph. This would actually be a correction since right now I'm off about that far the other way.

Check TireRack.com for the tires and look at the specs for how small a rim you can run. If you have steel wheels they are 6.5", alloys are 8". For that tire size, I believe you will need an 8-9.5ish inch rim size.
