Another tire post

I'm looking for a new set of tires here in the near future and was wanting some opinions on what to get.

The fast majority of miles on this rig are on the highway of course, but I still do a fair amount of hunting. So, I'm looking for something that will have decent traction off road (wet grass, some light mud, maybe a little sand) but will still get good tread life.

I've had Geolander ATs in the past, the mileage I've gotten out of them was around 40K. Tried some Kumho ATs, one is going strong, the other blew with just a few miles on them, and I've had a big O tire (mesa at I believe) and this thing has worn quicker than anything I've had on it.

I'm looking to get a good bang for my buck out of my next set of tires, the geolanders are so far in the lead due to cost (about 110 online per tire) but I'm curious about other tires, such as the michelins, that seem to last much longer.

Any input would be appreciated.

I hear good mileage comes from toyo m-55's, better than the at's, I went with the ht's as I'm all highway (almost)
