Another Smarty/timing Question

OK, which is better on the SMARTY, to run the setting with timing or not and what will be the advantage/disadvantage either way, really dosen't say in the paperwork other than the ones with timing are the next in line after the one without timing. Can someone educate me on this.
Got it on level 3 now and even that I have to be careful taking off, forget it if the road is wet.

depends on your other mods. If all you have is the SMARTY, then you deffinitely want to run the timing versions, but if you have another poer adder (box or module) that adds timing, then you might want to run the fuel only SW's unless the timing they add is minimal. Best thing to really do is run the SMARTY with it's timing and then supplement it with a duration box of some sort. Keep in mind, just my SMARTY has killed my trans, so I would not go to crazy if you have a stock trans.

As "Happy" said if smarty is all you run then stick with the ODD software numbers. If you add something like Quads box that has timing then run the smarty on the even numbers. The same goes for the TST unless the TST has adjustable timing. Just whatever you add make sure you can turn timing off, or turn the smarty to an even number. When i run smarty alone with timing it helps my EGT's stay cooler. Hope this helps
