OK a week or so ago I was cruising about 35 or so and all of a sudden bells and lights go off and all power to the guage pod was gone. The truck seemed to keep going fine though. Then last Monday I was trying to leave Cusick and no guages, but running fine. 30 miles down the road everything worked fine. Last night I noticed a brake issue so I was getting ready to replace them and noticed a wire looked like it was rubbing the pass side rotor. Tonight I looked at it closer and it was. So I bent the wire and bracket away from the rotor. Then I started the truck. I knew something was wrong when the fuel guage didn't come on immediately. The ABS light and air bag lights stay on and the odo says no bus. Do you guys have any clue what this could be.
Here are some more details. The horn doesn't work. The steering wheel center feels soft like there may not be an air bag. All the fuses have been check and are good. I even unplugged the batteries for 5 minutes to try and maybe reset the computer. I need my truck this weekend and can't afford this payday to pay a mechanic to check it out. If I need to run the codes, is there someone here that is close to me that could help me out with a reader for a case of beer or something?

The no bus problem was the ABS cable worn through and grounding out on the rotor on the passenger side. By the way, don't screw up a bearing and hub assembly when trying to replace the rotors. They are **** expensive. Mine at jobber cost was 326 after the govenor. Not to mention the cost of the 1 11/16 socket and 3/4 drive breaker bar.
