Greetings. Will be picking up my new 2007 2500 diesel on Saturday. Have read some of the blogs to see what's out there and am really impressed with this site. I've already decided that I will be replacing my 6.7 air filter with a 5.9, but I still have more questions to be asked in the near future.
I look forward to continued readin' and communicatin'

Burlington, but work in the centre of the universe, so will be doing about 100km per day. Even though I will be paying more to fill up, I am interested to see if I get the same mileage as my jetta diesel which I traded in for my new big toy!

Thank you for the warm welcome.
Question on fuel. I was using Ultra diesel in my Jetta, should I be using the same for the truck or is the regular Petro Canada grade just fine?

I have run back to back tests of the expensive fuel to the normal grade and didn't notice any changes with milage or performance. I don't even know how you can make a high performance diesel fuel, so needless to say I'm sticking with the cheap stuff especially since it was $1.15 a litre last fill up:o
