another dreaded oil question

i love mobil 1 synthetic. if I could, I'd drink the crap. it should be unsurprising to now say that I want it in my diesel. before I buy I want to be sure I get the right oil. Is there a special Diesel make of it? Or do I just buy their normal? what weight should I be looking at, considering I live in Michigan and winter is a-comin. We never, or rarely, see 0-degrees and if we do I'll have the block heater hooked up the hour before I start it for work. So, anyways, any special make of Mobil 1 and what weight?

yes, fleetguard filter, got it.

Yes, you have 2 choices. The "old standard" is labeled Mobil Delvac I. Delvac I is repackaged in quart and gallon sizes for the consumer (WalMart, etc.) market as Mobil I Truck and SUV.

Either is fine so long as it is a 5W-40 and carries the CI-4+ (current standard) API certification donut, even though your engine doesn't necessarily require a CI-4+ oil.
