am I ok as is?

Hello all,

I have a 2002 3500, just bought id, but knew the truck before. Anyways it had twins on it (miss those, prob going to put them back on), but is now back to stock turbo. Here is what it still has - 155 injectors (largest you can get from BD diesel), 5" exhaust, valve body, torque converter, converter lock, Edge comp, and a BD XMonitor. I have the box on 3 right now. My fuel pressure is at 20-22 idle, 18-20 cruising, and drops to about 10 when I am accelerating. I do believe that the fuel filter needs to be replaced. Oh, and it has a stock air box on it now (do the intakes really help more? it seems that they pull too much hot air off the engine, whereas stock pulls from the wheel well.). Am I running way too mich fuel with the injectors and such for the restriction I have from the stock turbo? I pull a trailer too. Just wondering if I am ok as is, or if there is something major I should change. Don't want to put a ton of money in it though right now.

Thanks

Just my opinion, but your pushing way too much fuel for a stock intake and turbo... there's a reason the truck had twins before, right? What temps are you seeing with your current setup?

I run 155's and a TST PM3 comp with a small turbo too. Its fine, you just have to watch the gauge and modulate accordingly with your right foot in the warmer weather or when towing. When empty in the winter I cant MAKE it hit 1,400°. I wouldnt change a thing.

I would however, be very concerned about the transmission.

Not too many folks from the first state on here, Welcome!
I'm right over here in Cecil County. Sounds like your rig is pretty well set up, good luck!
