All it needed was a vacation!

Well we just got back from a little trip to Medora, using my Dad's 8 1/2' slide-in camper. By the time we got back this afternoon, the following little things had worked themselves out. The Antilock and Brake "dummy" lights went out, the cruise worked nicely(didn't want to work on the way down), and it stopped blowing brake light and turn signal fuses!

And stretch it's legs it did. We left Monday which was a very windy day. Headed west into a 30-35mph NW wind. Locked out the OD and ran about 55(2-lane 65mph highway). Part west and part south travel. 205 miles down. Averaged 11.6 mpg going down. And for the first time I saw the pyro in the yellow zone!(ISSPro) Not for long though, I'd back off when it started into that zone. Couldn't push 75 in the last 15 miles on the interstate heading west with that headwind without the temps heading towards 1200 and up.
Here's a partial shot of my rig with a sample of the Badlands in the background.

Yeah I was pleasantly surprised to see these things start working again, especially since they all worked when I bought it a few months ago. The ultra-firm springs and the airbags were nice in the winds and around corners. The whole rig wasn't getting rocked all over the place.
