Alarm system

I just had amp research steps installed and now the blue led light for the alarm is always on and I tried to set off the alarm and was unable to, when they installed the steps did they mess up the wiring?

I don't see how that can be related? Factory or aftermarket alarm?
If aftermarket take it back to your insatller!

it is a factory KARR alarm

is it in valet mode? my alarm turns the LED solid when it is in valet mode but it is aftermarket.

The manual is at my parents house 8hrs away, how would I turn off the valet switch?
