I've had one for a little more than a year. No complaints so far. Mine idles at 17 psi., cruises at 15. Towing my TT up hill and wide open, I've pulled it down to 9.

I've got right at 50,000 on mine. No problems at all. Idles at 19, cruises at 16, gets down to about 10 on a hard pull with heavy load (20k).

I installed one when I replaced the injector pump. 10-15psi at WOT and the truck starts right up hot or cold.

I will be replacing the Carter in a Big Line kit application. Vulcan recommended a prefiletr screen in the 70-90 micron range. I found one at Summit, 85 micron,, Earls Performance 230206 for $38, plus $12 or so for barb fittings. The Airtex is susceptible to dirt wearing them out, so I have been told. I will also add shutoff valave.
FWIW.

I've run that lift pump for 6 months with no problems. 12-15 psi at WOT. I installed it in the stock pump location with stock lines.
