Airtex E7153
just wondering if anyone has tried this pump yet?
I installed one yesterday and seems to be a good pump. it comes with everything needed to install and its pumping 19psi ,seems quieter too and its made in USA too . I know some people dont like airtex but I have never had any problems with them . If anybody has had one let me know.thanks

I've had one for a little more than a year. No complaints so far. Mine idles at 17 psi., cruises at 15. Towing my TT up hill and wide open, I've pulled it down to 9.

I will be replacing the Carter in a Big Line kit application. Vulcan recommended a prefiletr screen in the 70-90 micron range. I found one at Summit, 85 micron,, Earls Performance 230206 for $38, plus $12 or so for barb fittings. The Airtex is susceptible to dirt wearing them out, so I have been told. I will also add shutoff valave.
FWIW.
