Airdog Fuel Preporator!!!

What pressures have you guys seen with the Airdog 150 with 1/2" lines? At idle? WOT? I need to buy a inline fitting to install my mechanical gauge, but the Adrenaline shows 15-17psi & doesn't move at wot. Sound right?

Yeah, I'm seeing nothing belwo 15, but my gauge has been bouncing back and forth between 15 and 17. I installed a FP isolator and it helped some.

Thanks for that! I already have my Adrenaline hooked in at the vp44 on that same fitting, it came with the vulcan fuel filter to vp44 hose assembly that I had on the truck. That is where I get the readings from now, but I am looking to hook in a mechanical gauge as well. The fuel line comes from the Airdog to the vp44 & I took the original fuel filter/water seperator off the truck. I need a fitting that goes in line before the vp44. I'm gonna check vulcan & see if they have one.

I just ran a tee off of my fitting coming off of the VP and hooked the Adrenaline sending unit and my mechanical guage fitting into that. I have this one from Vulcan. http://www.vulcanperformance.com/ser...r-to-VP/Detail The 90 came drilled and tapped for whatever plumbing you choose to stick in it. I assume yours is the same.

Mine is the same, but my line is just rubber, not braided. Would you happen to know the thread sizes of the tee which you used? The Adrenaline needs a female fitting as does my mechanical gauge.

i went to NAPA and got all brass 1/8" fittings. Mine kinda looks like a plumbers nightmare cause I came off of the 90 with my needle valve and then I've got the Adrenaline sending unit, a sending unit for my low press. light and the line for my mechanical guage.
Anyway, you should be able to find a 1/8" female tee to hook everything into. I actually found one that had a male nipple on one end and female openings on the other 2, it worked great.

Thanks, I don't have the low psi switch for the Airdog. I guess you have to order it seperately?

Hink, if you run any biodiesel be careful of that covered hose. Until just recently Vulcan was using hose that would not stand up to biodiesel and that covering would make it hard to see that the hose was falling apart.

Thanks, never checked Summit. That is what I'll do. I was gonna order the one from vulcan, but the shipping says $10.21 to my address.

Ok, thanks for the heads up. I've ran B2 thru it for about 5 months and haven't had a problem so far. I'll keep an eye on it.

I just went to NAPA and bought a sending unit, I think it will go off at 5-7psi. That's the closest thing I could find. $13 for the sending unit and $5 for an LED light at Radio Shack and a little wiring and waa-laa, homeade low fuel pressure light. Much cheaper than the $65-80 some retailers get.

Thanks, My friend did the same thing in his truck. I was just wondering if the kit was suppose to be with the Airdog or sold seperately?
