Air Filter

Is a fleetguard a good air filter? I found one pretty cheap I think. What would be a good price for one. Also if it was for a 94 would it fit my 98? Thanks

Re:Air Filter

According to Geno's Garage site, '94 - '02's use the same air filter. I like Fleetguard filters.

Re:Air Filter

Fleetguard is a great filter. You can cut it open and compare it to anything on the market. Fleetguard is the filter Cummins uses.

Re:Air Filter

I know I'm posting late, but I love amsoil's oiled foam filters. You really hear the turbo whistle louder because of more air flow, and I heard that paper filters are not good since the paper makes a substance that gets into the oil. The cummins is powerful and I don't trust paper. Also, the amsoil foam filter is good up to 25,000 miles then can be cleaned, re-oiled, and reused again!!!
