Air Conditioner

Ok on my dad truck it just all the sudden quite changing from like floor to vent. Any ideas? No matter what you turn it on it stays on defrost but if you turn it off it will go off. It is like it just wont change.

I found it under the hood on the driver's side. where there is like 3 or so small black hoses atached. One was unhooked. I got to thinking about it and i had just ran his over head the other day so i think i may have knocked it loose
