I have a 5th wheel with a bed slide and I squat a little and I am looking at getting a heavier trailer in a couple years so I want to do all my upgrades before I get it.

I have the Firestone RideRites with dual in-cab control. Nice setup, easy install and they work for me. Only had one problem when a semi trailer hit a deer in front of me and sent part of the deer's leg under my truck. The hoof must've bounced up and caught one of my bags and punctured it. Freak accident!! However, the Firestone bags look much more durable than others I have seen and I really like the dual (independent side to side) controller and the outlet for a schrader valve off the compressor.

I have the ride rites and they are a great setup. I went cheap and didn't put in the compressor. DON'T make that mistake.

Fueling around

I have Firestone and no compressor. The compressor would be nice, but I can adjust with a bicycle pump. I haul a truck camper and tow a tandem trailer which is worse than any 5th wheel hook. I set the curb side pressure 5-10 psi heavier to level the road crown. I usually have a cross wind so the leeward side is raised 5-15 psi.

I have firestones..... No compressor but I don't change loads that much and a cheap compressor that pluges into the cig lighter works well. Make a huge difference with a camper or hauling lots of topsoil or whatever in the bed.

I have a rear hitch tow 27' trailer with a slide-out that weighs about 8500 lbs. loaded. The quick adjustability of the on board compressor makes leveling very easy. The ride stability and quality are much better as well. It keeps the headlights down so no more high beam flashes either. I would never tow without them again.

I have the "Air Lift" Bags on my 2006 Dodge CTD CR and am very happy with them. I also ran them on a 2002 Dodge CTD 24 valve I had and they worked very well on that truck too. I decided not to buy the "On Board In-Dash" Controller. I just fill mine off the air valve stem near my rear license plate.
With real heavy loads, (over 12,000 lbs.) they REALLY make a difference especially on real rough highways and Interstates and the ride much smoother.

ride rites with yhe onboard comp and air resevoir. I love being able to pump up tires an do a quick blowoff f I need to. The only issue I have is the tank is so small the comp runs alot. Once my flatbed is installed in a couple of weeks I will put an 11 gal. tank under there for more capacity.

I went with the air ride with auto leveling. So far it has been a good choice but i didnt follow the instructions when it came to hook up. I put a valve in the fuel door and set up a switch in the cab for power instead of having it hooked up to the ignition switch. These made great improvements. Now when i am hauling i leave it in auto and when i run level i can turn it all off and save the life of the compressor. Also when you buy them together you get a lifetime guarentee on the whole setup.

I had Airlift Superduty bags on the last 3 trucks. They all served me well and I never had a single issue with them. That said, I went with the Pacbrake bags on my 03 this time because they appear to be a top quality bag at a very reasonable price and...well...I was ordering my PRXB at the same time from them, anway.
