Aftermarket turbo questions

I've done lots of reading on this but still have some questions:

1. Which aftermarket turbos are truly bolt on, I mean work with existing supply and drain lines, jacobs exhaust brake, etc?

2. I tow about 22K gross combined weight, tow both flat ground and mountains, have an aftermarket exhaust and intake and may use the smarty to add some additional power while towing (30-60 hp). What turbo would suit my needs to help move air for EGT control while meeting the criteria in question #1?

Thanks!

ditto!!! i have one.

There seems to be some confusion as to if you need a different downpipe or not...but you don't. it will bolt up to the stock manifold and downpipe.

there was a used one in the classifieds a couple of day ago...it was brand new in the box for $1600. Mine was $1800 i believe.

There are cheaper turbos out there, but theres a reason why. You get what you pay for!

The question I have is this. On the websites it always says you need an HX-40 downpipe if you have an auto? why is this?

Hey thats good to know...I wonder if my club NADP card will get me a discount on that... So it bolted right up to your pacbrake without issues?

I saw it too...it worried me too.

Luken's SPS 66 is on the stock manifold and downpipe.....my SPS 6280 is on my stock down pipe, ATS manifold.

Don't ask me why

The best me and my DTT builder (also II distributor) can figure is that pre 04.5 trucks need the HX40 downpipe....since 03-04 trucks had smaller turbos maybe

Will that turbo spool properly with just a Quad XZT?
