I'm getting the Lorenz 5100 system with dp leafs...do i really need a trackbar? Truck has 20k on the clock, so no issues with the stock track bar / bushings...Is it worth it / and / or a necessity with a lift?

It's one of those thing's you won't regret. If you have the money, do it. If not, wait untill you have the money, then do it. It's on my list for sure. I've already been through the "death wobble" phase and at the time didn't know any better and just bought another OEM piece. Now, I know better though.

And what's a DP leaf? I'm sure I'll know as soon as you tell me. Is it the Deaver? B/c I've never heard it called a DP.

Lorenz Dual Purpose Leafs....cushy ride as it replaces the stock primary's and secondaries with something that's not a huge inflexable slab of steal....multiple smaller leafs...supposed to really transform the ride.

OH,,, yeah. I knew I'd know as soon as you said it. I was just thinking a brand, "DP"... But yeah, they are also on the list. I learned the suspension the hard way. I bought some junk, wheels, tires, lift and loved the way it looked and hated the way it rode so I sold it all. Now I know better. All in due time really. But, yeah just make sure you get the 6% front coils if you're looking for a good ride and you'll be fine.

It tightened up and recentered my steering after install of his 2.25 system. I'd recommend it,but if your truck steers fine, you can let it go for awhile.
