AFE Stage 1 Type Ez or Type Cx, recomendations
I have a couple of questions on the AFE Stage 1 filters.
First, is there any significant difference between the Stage 1 Type Ez and the Stage 1 Type Cx? The Ez is about $100 cheaper, so it seem appealing if the performance differences are simular.
Also I am unsure about what type of filter is better, the Pro Guard 7, or the Pro-Dry S.I like the idea of not having to oil the filter, and am worried about posts I have read about silicates passing by and oil on the sensors.
Also, does anyone know if their are warranty issues with either type of filter?
I do intend to ask my dealer about their position on after market filter.
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks

The only thing i have read about the dry filters is they are good as far as no more oil, BUT, they do not filter as much as the oiled ones do. I have been running oil type filters for years and no problems with any of the sensors yet. just don't over oil that's all.
