AFC, Full power screw, pin grind ?
Smoke screw turned in as far as it wll go and still get the nut on it. Assuming the truck setting were stock ( I have no way of knowing) I turned the full power screw in 1/2 turn. Star wheel I turned 90* clockwise.
Question 1.
On the star wheel, how far can you go clockwise in turns? Can you go to far, and if you do, what would happen.
Question 2. How far can you go with the full power screw? Too far = runaway? Sticky said something like 1-2 turns. I feel this was and always has been stock as the metal tab was still present (not any more ).
Question #. ON the fuel pin grind, what and where and why am I actually grinding? Pics included. How far do you frind and are there particular angles/depths? Does the ride of the pin look ok?

the small neck part of the fuel pin is what you want to grind, look in the sticky for pictures, i turned my starwheel all the way to the bottom, it just stops turning, use your fingers cause its alot faster, so have alot of other guys on here, adds low boost fuel, or as most people call it, SMOKE. go until runaway then back it out a turn.

I think you confused that with the fuel cone directions. You want to turn the fuel cone so that the pin (coming out from the front) rides in the narrowest part of the "cone". Its not symetrical so you turn it X* for the pin to ride deeper.

https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...d.php?t=154086 <----- everything u need to know about the fuel pin
bottom out your star wheel, return your smoke screw to stock, the smoke screw only adds unnessecary heat while cruising. Unless u like lots of pre-boost smoke.

I guess I need to know which side of the pin to grind, shallow or deep side. After re-reading the sticky, and checking mine, my pin was ridiing on the shallow side, so I turned it so it was riding on the deep side (on with the most travel). So, am I grinding on the deep side of this?
Pics would be nice, but the sticky links must be too old now as 2 of the 3 dont work anymore.
