AEM Brute force intake?

Is the AEM Brute force intake a real cold air intake or something like a BHAF?I have a BHAF from my first gen,but am looking for a real cold air intake set up that does not require any filter oiling.Any such animal exist?

The AEM Dryflow filter is just like a BHAF - BUT it is washable and does not use oil like most of the other filters on the market. NO it isnt a "Cold Air filter" - the only true cold air filter on the market was the Scotty 2 but you cant get them anymore.
