Advice on p-pump conversion
Hey guys i need some advice just bought another truck 2000 qc sbed 5spd 4x4 and im wanting to ditch that vp junker
aqnd go w/ the p7100
but am having a problem finding fuel lines that dont cost an arm and a leg so if any body has any secrets nows the time to tell all!!!!!!!!!!!!plz and also ive got a pmax3 need to get shed of.

Not real sure on the specifics on the swap, but I do know that you will need to have some DEEP POCKETS!!!! That conversion is freakin expensive ( much better ) but expensive!!!!
There has been a TON of discussion on here about the swap, if you do a search I'm sure you can find all the info you need...........plus I'm sure that some of these guys will chime in and help ya out!!

it is no that expensive at all if you do the work yourself. do a search, my friend travis did it to his 9824v. i don't remember how long ago the thread was brought up but it is here. heck i will look and see.
Well like I said I don't really know first hand how much or how hard it is to do, I've just been told from a few guys that it can get pretty darn expensive...........but if you can do it for cheap that would be SWEET!! That is a lot better fuel system than this piece of junk we have
i have all the parts i just need help finding injector lines and i am doing all the work myself exept for the timing but the cheapest set of lines i can find are $550 but i appreciate the info

I bought my lines from PDR. But I have heard that Scheid made them. The pump, lines, and fuel pump are the three expensive items. I am on my 3rd P7100 since the swap was made 2 years ago. The idle always starts getting bad and then it will take spells of running on 5 instead of 6. This brand new pump is starting to idle rough after only about 1k miles.
