Advice on new trailer

I need some advice as to which trailer works best for quality and longevity. I currently have a big tex utility tandem bumper pull with 3000# axels. I need a heavier duty one that has 5000# but similiar to the one above. Locally we have Big Tex / Little Tex / Diamond T / Kearney anyone out there own one of these or know of another that is local to east texas that they can comment on? Any help is appreciated.

I don't know about the other trailers, but I bought a car hauler with the same features as their high end trailer for the price of their low end. I got it at Shirley equipment company between Longview and Hallsville.

You can try C and M trailers out of Ennis. Believe thats it. Just type in trailers in Ennis Texas and youll see them. You can get a 16 ft 5000 lb axle bumper pull made out of the 2 7/8 pipe which is plenty heavier than the 2 in angle iron. Last I checked it was 950.00 out the door. Hope it helps

I just got a Big Tex 12PI bumper pull, has 6K axles, 2-5/8" ball, built really stout, pulls great with a capacity load. I shopped around, got some slightly better prices on the same gross weight trailers but the Big Tex construction was a much better quality in the overall. I decided on the Big Tex because of it's build and the fact that IF I needed any warranty work they had a ton more places for repair than the other manufacturers. The trailer cost me $3100.

I pull for a manufacture that is also a dealer for Pro Trak, TrailMaster, and TopHat. They all seem to be very well built trailers and 2 of them are out of east Tx. Although Im not sure if ProTrak and TrailMaster make bumper pulls. I know TopHat does. Some of you Texans are more familiar with these companies than I am. Maybe ya'll can chime in on these trailers. I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts.
ProTrak is in Wills Point and TrailMaster is in Cookeville. I haven't been to TopHat yet, but they tell me it's west of Dallas a little ways. Hope this helps.

I bought mine at C&M in Ennis, they make them there. I got an 18' low boy, ramps, new tires, spare, (2) 6k axle for $2300. They have a web site. My trailer is 3500 lbs empty, pretty stout. Tough to beat their prices.
