I have an '05 Stock 5.9L w/143K and no gauges - only high idle flash done and one other dealing with overheating, I think. I'm not interested in smokin' anybody, but I drive the rig approx. 35K/yr and tow approx. 6K of it - approx. 75% overall are hwy miles. I've been getting an avg. of 16+ mpg overall, w/17-19 hwy and 13-15 town. I normally drive 65-73 mph hwy, and haul at 65-70 mph. Tranny is original, with no problems so far. I want to add gauges (for protection - even though a little late), try for a little better fuel mileage, and have the option of a little more power when towing (approx 6K load). I have the inputs from the above mfgrs as to which of their products they think will do best, but would appreciate the forum input on what you think will best accomplish what I want to do here, based on your experiences with these products. I'm not putting down the Edge by any means. I've only dealt with the Adrenaline on my 03. I went with the Adrenaline w/Pulse because I do not have any gauges either. The pulse will monitor your fuel pump pressure. I do not think the Edge will, they may now, I'm not sure. My neighbor has the Edge Juice in his 06 GMC, and it will scream and smoke tires all day long. I like the extra power the Adrenaline gave me, but I have never had anything else to compare it to.

If it were me I'd just get the Smarty JR.. No guages needed, will run much cooler than the Edge and better on the tranny

Personally, i'd go with the adrenaline. With the 32 bit processor the throttle repsonse is unbelievable. Almost like my smarty on wild tm. The pulse is an awesome monitoring system, and quadzilla's customer service is A+. I've dealt with this system on a friends 05. I have a smarty on my truck, but the Quad Adrenaline is impressive.

Thanks for the input. However, I can't (through quad's office) find but 1 dealer in Salem, OR - who does not do installation) and none in Portland or Seattle. I know some will say that I can install it myself, but this is new to me, and I don't like the idea of taking on drilling my manifold and trusting myself to all the plug-ins, etc. Also, having a dealer handy to ask questions at installation regarding how to set it up would be nice. I can't believe they have no dealers in Portland or Seattle.

I have the e/att on my 06 coming on 3 1/2 years, pull fairly heavy with it ,approx 23000 gross and it has been excellent.Is the adrenlin a pressure box or similar in function to the e/att?
