Adrenaline (No Power?)

Adrenaline (No Power?)
Well just as it says. Got the adrenaline installed on the truck. Tapped wire, triangle plugged in and map sensor plug is plugged in also. When I went to install it on my comp I downloaded a tune and went through the steps, but I just ran through them expecting I would be able to go through it again and didnt have the box hooked up. Now when I click a tune it goes to load page that allows me to put a tune on my box. I plug in the box and it reconignizes it and takes about 15 secs for me to put a tune on it, and when I check it, it says the tune is on the box. When I connected it it didnt change anything in my power. I can go all the way to level 10 and cant notice a difference at all. Now is this because I didnt have the box plugged in during the first install and it didnt install the nessary drivers on the box? Could it be mechanical? Maybe the wire tap isnt tapped good enough? I dont have the pyro, oil, or fuel pressure hooked up from the harness. I know this box is gonna have more power than I can handle but where is it!? What did I screw up on? My only thought is that I didnt install drivers on the box?

Well gave the module to my buddy to put on his lap top and loaded the adr2006 tune just to make sure that it was working cause it has the 3 min turbo guard on it and noticed a slight difference as I went up in power. Tried it at night so I couldn't see the amount of smoke coming out of it. My truck has 197,000 on it and I don't know about the IP and I also don't have any fuel upgrades so I wasn't expecting nothing HUGE that I know this box can deliver. As far as I know it seems to be working.

I would expect you'd DEFINATELY know if it's working not just a sub-par performance notice. I think the ADR box is a true 180hp, I'd really hope you'd have a "seat of the pants" notice....if not, I'll keep what I have.

my wire tap doesnt work at all times, from the first day that i got the adr back! sometimes while draving, i rapidly turn off/on the ignition, reseting it that way adds the extra power that the pump wire adds....

Well I can tell you I dont have that seat in the pants feel...it just seems like a slight increase when I go to level 1 to 2....but I can turn it up more and it dosnt seem like it changes anything...just figured it was my fuel pressure.....am i wrong?

Well I cant tell my fuel pressure because I haven't installed a gauge yet, my egts are running around 750-800 low 700s running at 55. Boost seems to be good I think can boost up to 28 if im really getting on it. Dunno the age and how hard my vp44 has been used since I bought the truck used. Tranny seems good, shifts hard. Has an after market converter in it I know. I do still have the hypertech on my truck. Would this still being installed cause a problem? I know the box must being working some what because it does have the three minute turbo guard on it, and it does work. Could the pump wire be robbing my power? I have tapped and re-tapped it. I know it doesn't feel like a huge gain has been received with the adrenaline. If anything its only when im getting on it like no tomarrow and its tapping 3000 rpms. I was hoping for some low end power? I know it cant be working to its full potential.

It might be something with the adrenaline itself. Id figure if it was the vp it would run hard for a few seconds then suddenly loose all power! But defiantely get a fuel pressure gauge on that thing immidetaley. Do you know anybody else that has a quadzilla?
