Adjusting wastegate on a 00'

How do I adjust the waste gate on my 00'? I dont see a nut on the rod that I can turn. Do I have to take the whole waste gate off and turn the one end of it. Or is there any easier solution to create more boost.

There are fittings available that have a restrictor and bleed off hole that will take all of 5 minutes to install.check it out here

Not likely that you would ever find something like that at a Napa store.

Another thing I just thought of. Even if you put in an elbow, you would not see any benefits without a boost fooler for the ECM. Without the fooler, the ECM will cut back on the fuel to keep the boost pressure down.

if you just un-bolt the head it does twist i dont know the difference between automatic and standard trannys just the position. but i would use the adjustable elbow or make your own it cost me $7 at the hardware store and as long as you have a programer or chip you dont need a boost fooler. a boost fooler is just fun for a little extra smoke
