Adjusting Headlamps ( Blinding people )

If anyone knows how to adjust please help us prevent blinding people,, actually it gives me a great view of everything inside the car in front of me. Yea, even the middle finger....
From what I have seen so far, it does not look like this is an easy thing if its even possible. Theres also a few things in the way if the entire head lamp assembly needs to be pulled. ehhh

When you adjust "side by side" it also adjusts the height. I had the same problem on my 2005 and it fixed it.

On my 04.5 there is only one torx adjustment for up and down. No side to side adjustment possible. I had the same problem when I had the leveling kit and 315s. Line up in front of garage and took a stab at lowering the beam. Seemed to be just right, no more high beam and fingers after that.

Thumbs up What I do...

For certain on '06 and '07 models, put your hand on the bulb connector and the boot that is around it. If you push lightly you will feel it give a little. It will move from notch to notch up and down. Watch the bulb's pod inside the headlight when you do this and you will see what part moves. I'm pretty sure that this is for '06 and up only as the coolant jug was moved on these trucks to behind the passenger side battery. Otherwise you wouldn't have the access room. This is how I've adjusted several with leveling kits around here, and will do mine when I get the kit put on. I don't know about '03-'05 models but this is how to do the larger assemblies. Again it doesn't take much pressure to move these so do press as necessary, but lightly as possible.

hmmmm, my truck is tock height and I ofetn have people flashing their high beams at me when my low beams and fog lights are on.

In fact I find the low beams and fogs more effective than high beams alone.

on my '08, if you open the hood and look to the inside of the headlight assembly there is a black rubber seal going vertically parallel with the inside of the headlight. Move it out of the way and behind it is an adjusting rod with a torx head on it. This is your up-and-down headlight adjustment.
