We can't get those nice little cans of 134a here in Wisconsin, but I know somebody and when my passenger side was blowing warmer than the driver's side I read here that the refrigerant may be a bit low....

The whole system was just replaced due to an accident, and the low side was reading 36psi, but what the heck, we threw in 3/4 lb and tried it. Low pressure side is now at 38psi and the truck blows pretty dang cold! 94 degrees outside truck sitting at 1500 rpm's and a thermometer in the vent shows 40 degrees....

I found that if I do not turn the A/C on until I am moving the passenger side is within 5 degrees of the driver side 40-45. If I have the A/C on when I start the truck, the passenger side will stay at 70-80 degrees for at least 5-10 minutes and even then it won't go below 60 degrees.

Maybe you should inject some dye into system you may have a leak. Makes it easier to find later on when the r134 leaks out again.

I took my 06 into the dealer and they added 1/2 lb. of refrigerant and some dye and it has never been as good as it was before they even touched it,and todayI taped up the lines under the hood with 1/2" foam as per another thread here and I noticed no differance at all in performance. The a/c in these trucks is shamfull!!! I dont even live in a hot area either.
