It's probably the bearing in the pulley. Mine was easy to do. You still have to remove the compressor from the truck, pull the pulley and press the old bearing out. Press in new bearing, bolt the pulley back up, install + recharge with freon.
I'm pretty sure the whole compressor is serviceable. I didn't have the means to remove all the bolts on my old old one to get inside and service the clutch.
