AC compressor- clutch bad?
I Crank the truck and it kicks off and on a few times and sometime it will continue to work and sometime it wont. Dealer says ac compressor clutch is bad and i need a new compressor. Does this sound ok? Where can i get a cheaper compressor online?

Could be an electrical connection to the clutch or a pressure switch. Or the freon is low. Run leads directly from the battery to the compressor clutch for full voltage to the clutch and see what it does.
I wouldn't jump to a new compressor just yet.

freon is ok but that is a good idea running leads to the compressor. thanks

Dads 03 had a relay the was bad in the steering colum. Everytime you adjust the steering colum up or down it would trigger the compressor clutch. Very weird
