abs
I have a 97 dodge diesel, I replaced the brake line on tht left rear. I bleed the brakes, added fluid, everything seemed ok, drove it a few miles and now the abs and brake lights came on. I replaced the brake switch and the rear abs speed sensor and there still on? any suggestions? Pete thanks

Are you sure you bled all the air out of the line? I use a large syringe with a rubber hose on the end of it small enough to fit snuggly over the bleeder. Fill syringe with brake fluid, put hose on bleeder, open bleeder and push brake fluid into line with syringe. It may sound strange but it does work very well. A buddy of mine who is a mechanic uses this method all the time. It works better than trying to push the air down the line because the air wants to go up anyway. Keep an eye on the fluid tank on the master cylinder as that will actually overflow as you push fluid into it. I use another syringe to suck it out as needed. It usually only takes a couple of syringes full to push out the air.

This is what you do on a 96... a 97 you might end up at the dealer?
check your RWAL diagnostic code, with the key in the on position, ground pin #13 on your knee bolster for a sec or two.
#13 is the fouth one from the right on the bottom row.
now your abs and brake lights will flash a code to you.
let me know what code you get.
I have the fault code chart here in my manual.
