AA 11.5 rear axle housing changes 2007
Does anyone know the what a why the 2007 axle housing is different then previous years?
I was comparing a 2003 rear axle housing to a 2007 and the 2007 axle housing looks larger/heavy then the 2003.

I found out the rear housing casting on the new 2007's pickups is the same as the cab and chassis only package.
Basically the pickup and cab and chassis now share the same rear axle housing when before they were different.
Is cab and chassis rear housing casting bigger/stronger? Seems like it!
