99' Dodge stutter

I have a strange problem, my truck stutters or missfires at random times. Just for a split second it bumps or misses once. There is no smoke when it happens and it doesn't happen very often, like once every 500 miles approx. It has happened ever since I have had the truck, about 30,000 miles ago. Is there air getting into the fuel system, loose wire? There appears to be no leaks in the fuel system, no check engine light no loss of power. Any info I can get to trace the problem would be appreciated.

No clue but I'd like to hear peoples opinions. A little knowledge is bad cuz now I'm going to be paranoid constant checking mine.

Nobody has any ideas? Could it be the engine goes through some sort of self test every so often that it causes a studder?

Does it do it when under acceleration, idle, or cruising? Also, I don't see a fuel pressure guage in your sig.

It does it randomly, under acceleration, cruising whatever. It only happens like once a month. I just recently put a new lift pump in and made no difference. I'm not worried about a problem bieng it has done this randomly for quite some time, but just wondering if others had noticed the same thing.

Have you changed the fuel filter and cleaned the water in fuel sensor? It could well be some drop of water passing unnoticed by the WIF light because there's some crud on the sensor..

Mine has been doing this since new. Yes for the last 6 plus years.( Gutless thing). Mine has a arcing problem in ???? sorry don't know where from yet will have to have cryslurrr engineering find it. HAHAHHAHAHAHAHA I can see it on an oscilloscope on the bolt on the PDC and in the pins to the vp44. It is a missfueling of the fuel advancement cam to the cylinders that causes this shaking. The APPS has only worked properly a few times. The rest of the time it just rev's and screams like a Jimmy but little power from it.
