Decide what your end HP goals are before buying a turbo.

i also have a 98.5 but its an auto. just this morning while driving to work i started hearing a LOUD lower toned whistle coming from my turbo. took it into a guy and he said it is on its last leg. quite a bit of play in it. is my turbo also a hx35? he said he can get me one for $800. seems like a good price. any cheaper ones out there? kind of strapped for cash. thanks.

I think $800 is way too much for HX35. You can actually rebuild your own with a kit that sells for some $50.
