977 rear wheel horsepower
Went to Danville Performance yesterday and strapped the 04.5 to their Dynojet. Ended up laying down 977 horsepower and 1,662 foot pounds to the rear wheels on diesel fuel only! De-aired the tires and strapped it down, reinflated the tires, and also had over 1,100 pounds in the bed of the truck to keep it nailed down.
The first run got cut short at 826, as the engine and truck body flexed to the point that the fan hit the shroud. Once we got that figured out, we lit up the dyno with the 977 run, followed by 942. The dyno sheet is in my photo gallery.
I am running 360 stock cubic inches , which works out to 2.7 horsepower per cubic inch on regular old DF2 fuel.
Special thanks to the following people -
Brandon "Joe Farmer"
Don at F1 Diesel
Chris at Relentless Diesel
Nathan at MPI
Tim at TRE Diesel
Opie at Intelligent Engineering
Dave at Ultimate Transmission
Doug "Jetpilot"
Christian "Cquestad"
All you guys helped with the selection of parts and gadgetry not to mention answering all of my silly questions. There are also a lot of members who have chimed in with suggestions along the way too. Great community here for sure!
Oh, and the truck still gets driven to the grocery store too!

I also failed to mention Bob Wagner. He and the SMARTY crew were instrumental in the whole deal for sure!
And yes, the fan hitting the shroud sent shivers down my back. Sounded like machine gun fire from a 60.
Thanks all!

Very good #'s. Now we need to see that badboy in action either goin down that 2 lane quarter stretch or hooking to a smooth bellied dirt pan. One day my 04.5 will be there I just hope she stays in one piece when I can finally afford internals. LOL

I am running a 64/71/13 over a gated Super Dave (fancy S480 with HTTs race cover) and Flux 5s.
Thanks to Timinva's advice, the programming I used was SMARTY TNT/r on 8, TST on 2/0 with 6* of timing, and the EZ on 2.
And yes, now that I am back stateside, the truck is going to the track in the near future!
