Ive seen them
with 255/85/16's, A friend of mine runs them on his dually with no spacers and no rub, However, he dont tow much with it, that i know of.... If you want spacers, i have seen guys that run 37's on their trucks..

235/85's are about the largest tires you can put on without rubbing and not having to use a spacer
I run these tires and with a heavy loaded trailer I keep my tire pressure at the tires max pressure of 80 psi
I had a Furd dually pass me a couple of weeks ago and when he pulled back into my lane I notice his rear tires had no spacing between them about 10 miles later I pulled in for fuel and this Furd was also fueling up....I walked over and asked the driver if his rear tires where rubbing......after a dumb look on his face I bent over to look and his sidewalls where worn to the cords....after he looked at it his only words where the tire salesman said it would be OK
