'96 rides a little low in the rear.

My 96 in the sig has an 800# EZ Dumper electric/hydraulic dumper in the bed. It seems to sag a little in the rear, though I can load it up very heavy and it handles fine. What is the cheapest most sensible way to level out the ride?

set of Pac brake air bags there relatively cheap and easy to install and when not in use air them down. I have them on my truck and there great extra springs = rough ride.

Well I came to this site for advice, but then did not take it.

I decided to go with an added leaf in my rear springs. The spring company rearched them and added a nice thick leaf that gave me about 2 inches of lift with my 800# EZ Dumper on board. It cost more than air bags, but since i drive in the woods some, i decided to go with the steel solution rather than the air bags.

MAN, what a difference it makes! Cost $350 installed.

I went the air bag route, I like them because they are adjustable.

I like that feature too, I was just afraid that given how much firewood I cut in the woods, i would have holes in 'em before long.

With some of this stuff, it would be nice to drive a truck that already had the part installed. I guess a test-drive for a 350 dollar repair would be a little costly for the repair shop to set up every time.
