Question 96 Front Brake Upgrades?

I am looking to upgrade my front brakes when I put the 37337 1-ton cylinders on the back. I saw the 01's can upgrade their front brakes to the 03 stuff. Any options for a 96? I still have the factory 16's but I am looking at putting on the 3rd gen 17's on. Will this help?

far as I know there is really nothing except maybe higher end rotors and pads, maybe keep an eye out and find an 2000 or newer front diff and swap it in then convert that to 3rd gen brakes... seems excessive but who knows you might get lucky, at a salvage yard or auction

I was afraid you would say that. Would the front diff. swap thing involve switcing the out the whole axle? I read a few other posts about switching to a an older ford axle. I think that will require a few more skills than I have at this point. Would the switch to a newer dodge axle be easier?
