92' 2wd srw to drw
Hi everybody, I want to convert my 92' to dual rear wheels and the front to run the dually rims. I am gonna put a grain box and hoist on it from our old 59 international b130 1 ton truck.
What all do i need to accomplish the drw setup and setting the front up for the same wheels? Thanks

Could i swap 1 ton front rotors to run the dually rims up front? can you just put longer studs in the rearend and just bolt the rims on?

I think the 2 wheel drives use a spacer to fit dually wheels.
With that box/bed you are planning on using the only way to do this properly is to swap in a dually rear axle and springs/overloads. There is no way I would use those cheesy single wheel to dual kits/adapters with any kind of load.

1st gen's do not use front spacers like the 2nd gens do. The hub for duals is different from a SRW hub. They do interchange if you want front duall rims.
The SRW axle is the narrowest axle of the three Dodge had in our trucks. Dodge measures from brake backing plate flange to flange.
SRW 52" or a little over
C&C 55"
dually 60"
Longer studs will do no good when the inner dual hits the springs.

If anybody has some pics of 2wd front hubs for a dually vs. a single i would like to see them for reference to know what i am looking for.
The load would be around 100 to 130 bushels of grain that this truck would get used for.

Myself I wouldn't use spacers if you payed me to. I have seen the damage done when a spacer comes loose/ breaks and spits a set of dualls off. Its not pretty and it can be expensive or deadly.
I would highly recommend doing an axle swap or trade the truck for a dually.

Easyest swap is a 1st gen axle. 2nd option is 2nd gen axles on the rear. The spring perches are the same width. You do need to do some modding on spring mounts and shocks. The 2nd gen gives you the option of rear disk brakes. If you want to upgrade the M/C. I haven't looked one of those swaps over good. I am not sure what you would do for EMG brake.
You could use a 70 or 80 from a 2nd gen.

A friend of mine told me to find a dana 80 outta a ford dually and cut the spring perches off and move them where i need them. I got several guys at work on the lookout for a dually axle for me. Just have to collect parts first.
