'89 non IC radiator

Is there a good place to get a radiator for a '89 non intercooled truck? I was quoted $540 for one. That seems a bit much to me. Anyone have one re-cored?

Rock Auto has Spectra radiators for a heck of a deal. I bought one for my i/c swap and only paid about $210 for it. Great quality also! No plastic tanks.

Use coupon code "64390495349368" in the "how did you hear about us" line of the shopping cart and you'll save 5%. Good until Oct. 2nd.

x2 on the rock auto buys. I bought my intercooled style radiator for my '91.0 non i/c motor that is in my '72 crew and it is great quality and has worked flawlessly.

Comes with the rubber insulators (top and bottom), petcock and even a length of hose for your overflow bottle. Packaged very well with styrofoam to keep it from shifting in the box.

Straight out of the box (upper and lower hoses were extra, of course):

Of course, the one pictured is for an i/c truck. I was just wanting to show quality, if you can even tell in the picture.

I had just checked on one for my 1991, I was at O Riley's and got a price for one out of copper and brass and he told my it was around $1000.00 and I told him he could keep it, this place just ordered me 4 A/C compressors and the first 3 of them were the wrong ones,

They insisted I have an SD709

So I checked my local Ricks Radiator and I got a quote for $300.00 for a copper core, he also could get me an aluminum and plastic but I said no thanks.

I would have to take him the radiator for him to measure it so he could get the correct core.

I have been getting my radiators here for the past 40 years and he does quality work.

I would trust a goor recore over a boxed one any day.

Jim

Jimbo,
How many row is that?

I think it is a two row. I am working out of town right now so I can't just run out and look.
