85mph speed limiter on cruise control??
Anyone know how to up the speed limiter on the '07 cruise control? Any programmers that have this function? I'm able to fake it out by reducing the tire size in my Bullydog and get up to about 90 with cruise on. Any way to do it and still have an accurate speedo?

Never tried it on my '03. Probably afraid I'd get lazy and not be able to let off quick enough when approaching potential speed traps. Now that the speed limit is 80mph in a couple of places in Utah though, 85mph cruise control may come in handy.

80 and then accell won't work. Already tried it.
I actually got pulled over once with my cruise set at 82. The cop said " I clocked you at 82 and it took me 5 miles to catch up to you" I said, "Yeah, I had the cruise on"

Dunno bout elsewhere, but in my area the fast lane is ownable :-)
The occasional car in the fast lane usually moves when they see a truck runnin up their back door.

I have noticed in central OH that people are driving faster. It used to be about 5-7mph over the speed limit (which doesn't exceed 65 in OH, yet). Now if you are only going 5 over, you get passed like you are standing still by people going 75-80.

On one hand, the 85mph limiter is nice in that I'm never really runnin' more than 10 over (UT has 80mph zones now?), but there's the occasional time I'd like to kick 'er up another notch though. My F-150 will run the cruise all the way up to the governor.
It won't go past 85mph with the accel button either.

My bi monthly run from Las Vegas, NV to St George, UT is like 200 miles of desert.. I can run almost the whole thing at 90 mph.. (dont use the cruise though.. those reservation cops dont mess around lol) Only time i have to slow down is in the Virgin River gorge inside AZ..

I had mine on 87mph-ish a couple months ago traveling on I-10 in west Texas where it is posted 80mph. My speedo was clearly halfway between 85 and 90 mark. I didnt' know Dodge had this feature but it makes sense.
