7.50/16 tire ?

Purchased horse trailer listed several yrs ago and it had bias 7.50/16's. They are old and cracking, had one come apart recently. I am going w/ LT radial tires.
I have some LT 245/75/16tires, they will be shorter and wider, correct? I am not worried about rubbing as the 235/85/16 spare has plenty of room.
What size would be closer to the 7.50/16's?
I've tried tire calculators but they won't let you enter the 7.50/16.

Suggestions................

The 245's will be 1" shorter than the 7.50 which are the same height as 235,75,16
I'd put the 245's on it if it was me.

Ok thanks for the info. I didnt make it by the tire store yesterday.

That is what I kinda thought about the free 245/75/16 tires, shorter. My concern was going too much shorter would put trailer unlevel and the hitch is already up as far as it can go.

I have found that LT245/75R16 load range E scrub too much in tight turns on pavement. I'm taking mine off and going with LT235/85R16 load range E.

750/16E and the LT23585R16E are two most sold trailer tires. Actually most of the farm and implement guys use the 750/16E tire because they are cheap and generally meet their needs.

My 12k Utility trailer came with the LT 7.50/16 R new. they have lasted 5 years, still no problems. I would price them out. They are pobably a better price than the 235/85/16.

I put Hankook 7.50/16's Max Vantage F-19's on my 4-horse living quarters trailer. I'very happy with them,

they are a heavy duty radial tire, think I paid about $110 each for them without mounting and balancing
