i bought a mbrp muffler from the guys at dtr in janurary and today it cracked right where the inlet is welded to the muffler cracked. i dont go in the mud off road nothing now why would that have done that?????

arround 250 bucks down the drain.....

I had one do that a few years ago and Mbrp warrantied it . They were really nice about it.

Gimme a shout tomorrow 304-952-6896 and lets see if we can't get MBRP to warranty that thing. I have the same muffler on my truck for 5 yrs now and looks just like it did the day I put it on.

I can not explain why it did that to you but that is the 2nd one I know of this year.

Now thats some service! I'd be willing to bet the MBRP will warranty the thing as well.

I'm on my 2nd one on the cool dual kit on my 07. They will warranty it for you. They should reinforce it better but, oh well.......

same thing happened here. cracked where the 2 pipes split. I tig welded mine back together

Thinking of putting the 5" turbo back on my 2007...any comments about the sound/ performance they produce?

My Banks Monster muffler split at the weld also...they replaced it no charge.
