6 codes...where to begin

6 codes.... and need help getting started. My cruise worked fine this morning but wouldn't turn on this afternoon (no light or anything). I got these codes:

0500-No veh speed sensor signal
1683-Speed control pwr relay/Speed control 12V Driver Circuit
1595-Speed control solenoid circuits
1693-DTC in ECM/PCM
0460-Fuel level unit no change over miles
1765-Trans 12V supply relay control circuit

I assume its the speed sensor but don't want to start throwing parts at it. Vacuum pump seems ok and switches heater controls fine. If it is the speed sensor, is it in the pan or rear end?

I haven't checked fuses yet.

Did you get all the codes at the same time? What I would do is go to autozone or clear them yourself and see what comes back and address them in the order that they come in. Sometimes they cascade on to another and fixing 1 will fix the rest.

Check your fuses, connections and wireing. Then clear your codes and see what comes back, if all come back, start with the first one and the clear and recheck, this should help keep from "shotgun" parts at it.

I guess I will have to ask the obvious, Is the speedometer working? Then I have to comment and say most of those codes are V power related. Fuses first and then clean em out and see what repeats as the others have said. Id bet a fuse issue. If not a fuse Id look at the areas of modification. We humans like to shoot ourselves in the foot. Then Id break out the ETM and look at each of the involved areas and see what each has in common on the V supply side. Maybe a relay or buss. It will be something dumb. Oh BTW dont forget that fuses pop for a reason and never put a larger fuse than called for as you will let the magic smoke out ands its never cheap to get it back in.

Speedo and tach work great. I don`t think its a fuse because I noticed it working intermently and then just quit. Ill take a look at it this weekend and see what I can find.

Didn't work this morning on my commute but its working fine now.... Anyway, that rules out a fuse and am now thinking it might be my clockspring...but my horn works so who knows.
