Has anybody looked at or done this?

I have that nice plastic I/C. I was looking at upgrading & wondering if this would be an easy possibility. I know that cool twist has one for cheap, but I get 20% off of DC parts as part of being a business link owner.

so why get one out of a 6.7. just get a metal one for a 5.9...

I figured that if i'm spending the money, I would make sure that it was better than a "stock" one. I was just looking at a cheaper alternative to the cooltwist. You know the bigger the better.

is the one out of a 6.7 even larger? i have not looked at one.

Good question - conceivably it could be since the emissions-laden 6.7L is sure to increase the heat load.
