With 37's and a 6 inch lift, I got 15 my last tank. That is in the mountains too, empty. I also unplugged the egr and my dpf is MIA.

Mpg 6.7 2007.5

I am getting 17 to 19 highway and have gotten as high as 21 highway, hand calculated between full fill ups on long runs. At 75mp, I get 17 to 19...if I drop back to around 55-65, the truck does better. With a slide in camper in the bed I get 14 to 15. In town leaves a bit to be desired...empty I get 13.5 to 14.

The truck is stock with the exception of a banks cold air intake. I didnt experience much of a change in mileage...maybe a little. The turbo whine is louder but that wasnt why I put it on.

Tires make a difference. My stock Michelin's are the best. I run a more aggressive set in the winter and they hurt about 1 mpg.

The truck has performed very well and the only major repair is I have a new turbo which seems to work fine. 07 truck, 08 turbo.

2007.5 QC, 2500, 6.7L, SB, mineral gray, auto, 08 turbo

Fuel Mileage

I believe a lot depends on were you live and the time of year. From Mid Oct till Mid March in the mid-west we are using winter diesel fuel. This cuts down my mileage, come summer my mileage increase. I hand calculate at every fill-up and keep a spread sheet for each calendar year tracking my fuel mileage through-out the year. The best that I have ever had was 16 MPG. Towing I average 9.8 to 11 MPG depending if I was in mountains or on flat land. During the winter I average around 12 MPG with the EGR unplugged.
