5" cat back

I scoured the web trying to find a sound clip for a 5" cat back with/without muffler for an '06-'07. Does anyone have a clip they could post or point me in the right direction to find one.
I am looking for a little louder sound then just the muffler delete but I still want to keep it legal.

Thanks for the help

I think it would sound just like a 5" turbo back with a cat still in it.

Really, (and some may argue) with everything being equal, and nothing changing other than the exhaust a 4" will be louder, but the 5" will give you the deeper smoother tone like big truck. It takes out some of the raspyness too, but if you leave the cat and 4" dp in that should cut out a lot of the drone associated with 5" exhaust systems.

If you just want volume put a 24"x6" tip on it and you would be amazed how much that will change the sound of you exhaust you have now.

I bought my 5" turbo back from a ebay motors store and it fit perfect. They give you clamps/hangers that are good/work and U have choice of deleting cat. I don't know if you have state inspections for your diesel but I don't so no cat for me, I wanted a free flowing system. Right now, there's a t.b. for $300 from city muffler and performance. I love the sound of mine and so do others (recieved compliments) but not from the tree huggers (HAHA). No offence to anyone.

WAP, can you elaborate on how the exhaust tip changed the tone and volume of your system? Thanks.

Check out you tube and search 5" exhaust or something, you'll find something.

The deeper tone is what I want I guess I should have said that instead of louder.

I don't have state inspections as far as I know, but who knows with all the trees to hug in my neck of the woods it might not be too far off.

I can find all sorts of 5" turbo back just no 4" to the cat and 5" back.

When I opened the box up and saw the 'stove pipes', I thought OHOH!! it's gonna be LOUD. When some of my friends saw it in the parking lot they thought the same thing. I started my truck up and they (myself included) said it's not loud at all. It depends on the inside of the muffler on how it's designed. I have not seen on how others mufflers look inside but I can tell you on mine. I don't have the 'drone' sound inside the cab, yes it's a little louder than the 4" but you can still have a conversation without talking loud to hear each other.
If you don't have state inspections now, they can't include your truck in future inspections. It's like the smog laws for each state, it takes ....... I won't get into that subject, I hate politics. So far we Ca. have kept our pre '75 vehicles from being 'smogged'.
It's your truck, do with it what you want. You have the info. that I already gave you and I like my 5" t.b. exhaust. All I paid is $280 for mine plus shipp. and I bought a stain. 6" tip for $55 for the same place on ebay.

Good luck and to each their own, being diff. is what makes things interesting.
