4X4 Ball Joints
Hey guys,
Do the upper and lower ball joints push out easy (clamp press) on a Dana 60 or do they need to be done by a shop press?
I'd like to do this on my own but I get a bad feeling about this one
Cheers,
Taz

This is my story in chronological order. Skip to the end thread for a summary.
My advise is to buy the correct press, and know all the tricks to getting the bearing assembly out of the knuckle (provided your hub configuration is the same as my 2001).

EDIT: Chances are, that your 98.5 is substantially different than my 2001.

Get the correct "C" style ball joint press and you should be OK. I've done a bunch of these, not so bad, but I got one of the ones that required some special "techniques" to get it out!!
